Headline Communications founder Michael Savino
has 20+ years of experience in marketing, public relations and journalism, including 15 years in the public sector. Michael has conducted numerous
media relations, crisis communications and
community outreach workshops.

An adjunct journalism professor at Dowling College, Michael has over 1,000 reporting and photography credits. He has received numerous awards, including those from the Educational Press Association of America, the Long Island Advertising Club, the National School Public Relations Association and the Press Club of Long Island. In addition to
his managerial responsibilities, he directs strategic planning, working
with clients to identify goals, core competencies and funding sources.

Michael’s previous employers include Manhattan Community College,
the NY Aquarium, NY Hall  of Science, Syosset Schools, This Week Publications and the US Department of Education.
